Description
An interesting species with large orange/spotted flowers with a particular arrangement of the tepals. Also, I think the basal whorl of leaves is very unusual for a lily. For the woodland, best in a shaded location with enough moisture.

Germination: like others from L. martagon group: delayed hypogeal germination. Bulbils formed at warm, then a period of cold stratification required for leaf growth; variations in the germination type are possible.
