Description
A dainty plant with a slender flowering stem with a pair of opposite leaves. It flowers in the spring with white, bell-shaped flowers along the stem; if you get close enough to observe them, you’ll see a shower of delicate snowflakes!
This is a tough little plant with a tight clump and the basal leaves will remain evergreen; very good at the edge of the shade garden, in a rockery or even as part of a shade container, where the interesting flowers can be observed close-by.
Germination: sown in the fall or spring (2-3 months of cold-moist stratification).
