Description
A tall, impressive Star of Bethleem with large pyramidal heads with many white flowers in June-July. The leaves are disappearing at flowering time.
A very good plant for the edge of the woodland garden, drought resistant.
Over the net can be found with the common name Arabian Star flower, which of course doesn’t make sense, being mistaken for Ornithogalum arabicum.
Germination: cold/moist stratification; sow in late fall/winter. Grow it in the same pot for 2-3 years.
