Description
Most often called Molly the witch, this long lived peony is a wonder from early spring when the foliage arise in reddish hues, becoming glaucous green afterwards, until late fall when the black seeds contrast with the red ones (infertile) in the fall sunlight.
Large flowers in various shades of yellow to pale cream. Seeds offered from garden grown specimens so among the seedlings hybrids will be possible.
Germination: two stage germinator like most other peonies; warm period needed to emerge the root, folowed by cold period for breaking the shoot dormancy.
