Description
A small size, clump forming Phyteuma with narrow leaves; great for the rockery and containers. Round heads of deep blue flowers; on granitic substrates in the mountains.
Germination: all other Phyteuma species proved to be warm germinators. The seeds are fine, sown superficial.
Update: there was no germination at room temp., so we have to treat this species as requiring a cold/moist stratification (sow in late fall/winter).
