Description
An old polyantha cultivar with the name lost in the midst of time with large, red-yellow flowers which are also fragrant! A vigorous grower with a long flowering period so it would be a pity not to share the seeds.
Like all polyanthas it is super tough and thrives in almost any conditions, just that it will go partially dormant if it gets too dry in the summer.
Germination: easy, after 1 month of cold moist stratification. I usually sow in February (sow superficial), keep the pots at cold and bring them inside for germination somewhere in March/April. The pots can also be left outdoors and they will germinate with the raise of temp. in late spring.
