Description
A small size shrub, that will grow up to 1.50 m at most and with a wide spread. Leathery narrow leaves and white clusters of flowers in the spring, followed by dark purple ‘cherries’ in the fall.
A very good shrub for naturalization and restoration projects with stabilizer function and also for rock and xeriscape gardens. Important pollinator plant and the fruits provide food for wildlife (they can be made into jellies and jams if really in need).
Adapts well to garden growing in a location with full sun/good drainage.
Germination: 3 months of moist-cold stratification; an easy shrub to grow.
