Description
A rarely cultivated Pulsatilla, with large flowers, whitish with bluish reverse, before the foliage growth. I read that it’s called ‘phantom Pulsatilla’ in Japan, I do not know if really true but the flowers do have a dream-like appearance.
I am very thankful for these seeds; it is a great and rare opportunity for us all to try and grow this wonderful Pulsatilla.

Germination: some recommend sowing the seeds in the winter for cold/moist stratification. Being too late for it, the use of GA3 may help. Otherwise, sow and be patient, keep the sowing in a rather cool location. If they do not germinate, keep the pot outdoors during the season and let it overwinter naturally.
For preparation and use of GA3 see the Germination page.
