Description
The dainty alpine catchfly with a very fine overall texture, 10-15 cm tall (it can also spread over a rockwall). It forms a clump of thin stems with linear leaves, topped with many white (rarely pink) flowers in late May-June with a long blooming period. The perfect catchfly for a relative moist spot in the rockery or at the edge of a pond.
Grow it together with other moisture loving species like Primula mistassinica, Leptarrhena, Parnassia, Lobelia kalmii and so on….
Germination: easy, warm germinator; sow in the spring (if no germination occur move the pot in the refrigerator for 2-4 weeks).
