Description
A very easy and hardy species for the rockery or front borders; biennial.
It will flower in the second year after sowing with many blue, bell shaped flowers; it may reseed in place.
Also a very nice foliage, the rosette with thick leaves remains evergreen over the winter; the gallery picture was taken at the end of November. Always a bonus during the winter snowless periods!
Germination: sow in late fall, or after 1-2 months of cold stratification; fine seeds, sow superficial.
