Description
A very cold hardy, handsome monkshood with almost white flowers yellow, tinged with green-yellow on the lower ends of the long hoods.
Krylov’s moonkshood is a vigorous but compact growing Aconitum with abundant flowering stems in July and dark green foliage. Doing excellent in a part-shaded and partly dry location (comparing with other blue flowered Aconitum).
Germination: after a moist/warm period followed by a cold/moist cold period (winter) the seeds germinate quite readily and the seedlings grow very fast.
Most Aconitum seeds will germinate very poorly (or not at all) if not sown soon after collecting (otherwise the seeds have to be kept moist stratified).
