Description
A very small, cute plant with crenate leaves and bright, neon-yellow flowers in very early spring. Showy in flower and during the whole period of seeds maturation when they remain exposed.
In my garden it thrives in a moist container, in part-shade. A tiny and very cold hardy plant, perfect for those with a moist, partial shaded nook in the rockery.
The mother-plant it was grown from seeds wild coll. in BC.
Germination: warm, easy germinator; the very fine seeds need light for germination.
The seedlings remain tiny and are best transplanted in bunches; my method is to plant the whole sowing pot in place.
