Description
Seeds collected from a specimen having large, white flowers with pink flares, fading to white. We will call it ‘Apple Blossoms’ (it went by coll. 8a-B21 – white/pink flares two years ago). The leaves are on the larger side for H. americana.
Germination:
Hepatica seeds may all germinate in the first spring after sowing; or they may germinate after one more year, or a combination of both. It is necessary to take care of the pots during all this time! The first flowering: after 3-4 years.
