Description
A great Penstemon with large, blue flowers on upright stems. It was grown from seeds of a cultivated plant, so we should take the name with a grain of salt. A tiny grain, because it seems to fit in many details, but there is always a ‘but’ when it comes to cultivated Penstemons. Plus, we have variations between populations growing in different locations.
Seems to do well in the rockery: full sun, well drained.
Germination: sow in late fall/winter (cold/moist stratification).
