Description
What can you gift to a seed person other than more seeds? Sometimes I get seeds I can only use for plants with annual display (nice surprises are possible though).
Palmer’s Penstemon is said to be one of the few slightly fragrant penstemons. More than this, it grows tall flowering stems covered in very large, pink to reddish flowers. The grayish foliage seems to add to its attractiveness.

Given its wild habitat, it is a great plant for dry, scree garden, or any dry/full sun garden spots.
Germination: it does get cold in Arizona and Utah especially at high altitude, so for sure a period of cold/moist stratification it is beneficial for seeds germination.
