Description
An alpine Pulsatilla species with white flowers with a bluish reverse, growing on locations with acidic substrate, moist but with very good drainage. Not an easy Pulsatilla in cultivation.
Germination: most Pulsatilla germinate best when sown right away after collecting. When not possible, a few weeks of warm/stratification (15-20C) followed by cold/moist stratification, may lead to good results. Also a GA3 treatment can be tried. The germination can be slow and also the seedlings are slow growing.
