Description
The Canadian Burnet is a gorgeous native perennial plant that should be seen more in our gardens.
It forms a clump of pinnately compound grayish-green leaves and tall, straight stems bearing bottlebrush-like inflorescences with many green-whitish flowers. It has a long flowering period in late summer, on the same time with Echinacea (nice to pair it) and it has pollinators value. It spreads by rhizomes, but not extensively; more in very moist locations.
Germination: easy, warm germinator (sow in late spring outdoors or early indoors under lights). The seedlings grow fast in the first season.
