Description
A gorgeous variety of the Asiatic burnet, with nodding, bottlebrush-like white inflorescences in mid to late summer. The tiny flowers are visited by myriads of pollinators.
An elegant, fantastic foliage plant in my opinion, due to the clump of shiny, finely divided leaves and the tall flowering stems.
Gorgeous look for the garden together with Echinacea and Rudbeckia, like in the featured image; alas not in my garden, my plant is still young.
Germination: said to be best after a couple of weeks at 10-15C, so it would be best started in early spring. Providing one month of cold/moist stratification at fridge temp. (4C) takes away the guessing and promotes good, uniform germination for all warm germinators.
