Description
All Ironweeds are beautiful, tough perennials and very important pollinator plants.
On any given day starting in mid to late summer there are various pollinators enjoying the purple flower heads!
This is also a drought resistant species and with less moisture will remain lower in stature, but it will still be quite a large perennial.
Germination: sow in late fall (cold/moist stratification required).
