Description
From the category ‘tall & beautiful’ we have this wonderful NA native called Culvert’s root. It forms a large clump with whorled leaves on tall stems topped up with long, branched inflorescences of tiny, white flowers. An outstanding look when it flowers!
A hardy, resilient and excellent pollinator plant. It needs a few years to form a nice clump but worth the wait.
Germination: sources indicate this species as a ‘warm germinator’; sow in early (indoors) to late spring (outdoors); very fine seeds that need superficial sowing.
