Description
For many years I wished for a white Corydalis solida (thinking at the nice forms that could appear from crosses with red and purple forms). Then, one spring a white flowered plant appeared out of nowhere in the garden!
In this idea I share some of these seeds this spring. It is not growing among the mass of red, pinks and purples, but there is no guarantees that the off-springs will all have white flowers.
Germination: explained in detail here – Growing Corydalis solida & allies from seeds.
Sow the seeds in pots and follow the instructions. The seeds can also be sown directly in the garden (incorporate the seeds into the ground, close to a perennial/fern, or anywhere else you know no new plantings will be done to disturb the seedlings coming up next spring and watering is provided during dry spells).
