Description
A Primula for moist locations with umbels of violet/purple flowers and a rosette of stiff leaves. Saying goes that it is not easy in cultivation but definitely worth trying.

Germination: many Primula species will germinate at room temp. 18-20C, but this is a new one, so we have to try it both ways first: with cold/moist stratification and at room temp./outdoors in early spring. Small seeds always need to be sown superficial and covered with a thin layer of grit, perlite in order to prevent the seeds dessication before the germination.
